(3BL Media / theCSRfeed) Cleveland, OH - September 26, 2011 - BrownFlynn is pleased to announce two new additions to the Firm and a promotion: Christopher Thomas has been named Senior Consultant, Margaret Balewski has been named Senior Administrative Assistant and Marissa Beechuk has been promoted to Analyst.   Christopher brings his extensive consulting background and experience in international business in a variety of different sectors to help us deliver customized solutions to clients. He is well-versed in Environmental Management Systems and Corporate Responsibilty programs, with expertise in embedding social responsibility initiatives into corporate development plans. Christopher’s background in stakeholder and employee engagement around organizational excellence complements BrownFlynn‘s core practice areas.   Margaret brings a wealth of experience to her role as Senior Administrative Assistant. She excels at client service, organizational development and strategic planning. She has also served key roles in project management, event planning and team building. Margaret’s positivity, resourcefulness and ability to multi-task will reap benefits for both BrownFlynn’s clients and team.   Marissa has been a valuable team member of BrownFlynn for three years, and has been recently promoted to Analyst where she will play a key role on a variety of client projects. Christopher is well versed in EMS and CR programs, including ISO 14001, with an expertise at implementing operating processes and embedding social responsibility initiatives into corporate development plans. Prior to his role with PA Consulting Group, Christopher worked with private trade development organizations in the West Bank and Gaza to promote and enhance export capabilities, and for CH2M Hill managing environmental infrastructure projects internationally.   Christopher was an Energy Group Leader for Transition Town Kingston, a Representative for PA Consulting Group with the United Nations Global Compact and a member of the United Kingdom Business Council for Sustainable Development. He has an MBA from the Kingston Business School at Kingston University, UK, a BSc in Economics and Finance from Bentley College and participated in the International Business Programme from Vrjie Universiteit Brussel, Belgium.   About Margaret Balewski Margaret brings more than 20 years of organizational and planning experience to BrownFlynn. She spent the last four years at John Carroll University, most recently in the University Advancement department. Margaret has a Juris Doctorate from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Cincinnati. Margaret is co-founder of the Independence Cultural Arts Council, a Spiritual Director for the Ignatian Spirituality Institute and an RCIA Mentor for St. Basil Catholic Church. Her involvement in civic, non-profit and higher education enterprises adds depth to our team.     About Marissa Beechuk Prior to her arrival at BrownFlynn, Marissa studied Communications and Journalism at John Carroll University (JCU), where she was a three-year editor for The Carroll News and an editorial intern for Cleveland Magazine. Marissa received her Masters of Communications Management from JCU in December 2010. Marissa is a member of the Outreach and Development Committee for Adoption Network Cleveland, a Big Sister for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cleveland and participated in the Civic Leadership Institute through the Cleveland Leadership Center.   BF17122
