Run for the Children: Sponsor Key Human Services’ 5K Run, One Mile Walk and Kids Fun Run

Wethersfield, CT, June 18, 2014 /3BL Media/ — Key Human Services seeks sponsors to support the Birth to Three program through involvement in its annual 5K Run, One Mile Walk, and Kids Fun Run on September 6, 2014 at the scenic West Hartford Reservoir.

The 5K benefits Key’s Birth to Three program, an early intervention program. Proceeds will provide scholarship programs to assist families and funds for purchasing adaptive equipment and other program supplies. Birth to Three provides direct services and supports to children who have a significant developmental delay so they can develop at a pace similar to their peers.

Race day registration begins at 8 a.m. The 5K starts at 9 a.m. with the One Mile Walk starting shortly thereafter. The Kids Fun Run begins at 8:45 a.m. Both individuals and teams are welcome to participate.

The top three male and female 5K finishers will receive trophies.

Until August 29, it costs $20 per person for the 5K and the One Mile Walk and $75 for teams of four or more. The Kids Fun Run costs $5.
