SCA Finalist in USA Today Nonprofit Branding Contest

Which of the ten nonprofit finalists below will receive the most votes as of 11:59 pm on January 26, and walk away with $100,000 in free national ad space in USA TODAY?

B Lab promotes businesses that are both environmentally and socially sustainable through the independent B Corporation certification model. By creating a nationally recognized brand that differentiates between "good companies" and just good marketing, B Lab envisions a new sector of the economy that actively promotes the public benefit.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of America helps children reach their potential through one-to-one relationships with mentors that have a measurable impact on youth.

Global Goods Partners is dedicated to empowering women, alleviating poverty and promoting social justice. They partner with community based organizations in marginalized regions of Asia, Africa, the Americas and the Middle East, creating access to the U.S. market for their partners' handcrafted products and providing technical assistance to build sustainable livelihoods.

The Hunger Project is a global, nonprofit, strategic organization committed to the sustainable end of world hunger. They work in 13 countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America to develop effective bottom-up strategies to end hunger and poverty.

KaBOOM! creates great playspaces through the participation and leadership of communities. Ultimately, they envision a place to play within walking distance of every child in America.

One Warm Coat aims to provide any person in need with a warm coat, free of charge. They inspire people of all ages to donate a gently used coat for a local person in need.

The Rainforest Alliance works to conserve biodiversity and ensure sustainable livelihoods by transforming land-use practices, business practices and consumer behavior.

Samasource connects people living in poverty to work via the Internet. In parallel, they provide high-quality content moderation, data entry, and other outsourcing services to clients.

The Student Conservation Association (SCA) builds the next generation of conservation leaders and inspires lifelong stewardship of the environment and communities by engaging young people in hands-on service to the land.

WITNESS uses video to open the eyes of the world to human rights violations. They empower people to transform personal stories of abuse into powerful tools for justice, promoting public engagement and policy change.

From 11:59 pm on January 11 through 11:59 pm on January 26, individuals can vote once a day on their favorite nonprofit. To help voters decide which nonprofit would most benefit from the first prize, the voting microsite will also include finalist application essays.
