October 14, 2015 /3BL Media/ - Located in the heart of Toronto's financial core, the Toronto-Dominion Centre – or TD Centre for short – is made up of six buildings that received LEED EB: O&M certification. In order to achieve this certification, strict measurable and actual performance metrics had to be met. The LEED EB: O&M certification is unlike any other LEED certification, because of its focus on operation and maintenance in a building's lifecycle. Within these phases, the standards focus on areas such as energy and water reduction, waste diversion, transportation, electricity, sustainable construction and infrastructure, as well as the Occupant Engagement Program.

At more than 4.5 million square feet, the TD Centre is now one of the largest LEED Platinum certified properties in North America.
