The American Cancer Society Launches "More Encores" Sweepstakes with OneRepublic and Live Nation Entertainment
LOS ANGELES, July 16, 2014 /3BL Media/ – Live Nation Entertainment announced today the American Cancer Society‘s(ACS) More Encores sweepstakes, in which fans are encouraged to share an inspirational photo in support of the those who have experienced cancer in their lives. The American Cancer Society is doing the most to help people fight cancer today, and leading the search for cancer's causes and cures. Fans can share an inspirational photo related to cancer that will form a photo gallery on the American Cancer Society’s Facebook page and enter for a chance to win a flyaway to meet OneRepublic and see them perform live at the Gexa Energy Pavilion in Dallas, TX. The sweepstakes will run for 30 days, until Friday, August 15.
“Every one of us is affected by cancer in some way, whether it be as a patient, caretaker, supporter or survivor,” said Ryan Tedder, songwriter and lead singer of OneRepublic. “We are proud to support the efforts of the American Cancer Society by sharing their message with our fans and joining the conversation.”
All photos submitted by fans during the sweepstakes' timeframe will be included in a larger photo gallery on the American Cancer Society’s Facebook page. Fans will also have the ability to share either photos with friends and encourage them to participate. By reaching out to a younger audience through the sweepstakes via social media, ACS hopes to create a photo gallery of hope on their Facebook page. One winner will be selected for the flyaway to meet OneRepublic.

The American Cancer Society and Live Nation Entertainment have frequently joined forces together in the past three years to raise funds and bring awareness about cancer to fans. Past collaborations have included two National Breast Cancer Awareness Month campaigns and an October 2013 fundraising project with the National Football League.
