The Caterpillar Foundation Partners with Finning to Support Flood Victims

July 29, 2013 /3BL Media/ - Finning Canada and the Caterpillar Foundation announced a contribution of $170,000 to provide relief for the flood impacted areas in southern Alberta, Canada. Funds will go toward The Calgary Foundation's Flood Rebuilding Fund and The Red Cross. Finning employees showcased their spirit of generosity adding $20,000 to the corporate donation of $150,000.

In addition to the contribution, Finning and Cat Rental Store employees have assisted with flood response through the deployment of a wide range of products and services such as generators, pumps, fans and light towers, as well as technicians to keep emergency management organizations and customers operating throughout Calgary, High River and Medicine Hat. Drawing upon the inventory and skilled technicians from across the dealer's western Canadian territory, Finning will continue to partner with its customers to help affected areas.

Our hearts go out to those affected by the flooding in southern Alberta, and we hope this contribution will aid in the relief effort," said Michele Sullivan, Caterpillar Foundation President.
