NEW YORK, November 2, 2016 /3BL Media/ – Univision Communications Inc. (UCI), the leading media company serving Hispanic America, is calling on registered voters nationwide to cast their ballot early, where available, or on Election Day as part of its nonpartisan Vote For Your America voter engagement campaign.

Since the nonpartisan campaign launch in February, UCI and its community partners have been focused on increasing the turnout of Hispanic, multicultural and millennial voters in the 2016 primaries and general election. As part of that effort, the company is collaborating with its partners Democracy Works/TurboVote, the NALEO Educational Fund, Mi Familia Vota, Hispanic Federation, National Council of La Raza and League of United Latin American Citizens, among others, to empower registered voters to get to the polls by providing the information and tools needed to make the process as easy as possible.

“We recognized more than a year ago the value of rolling out the Vote for Your America campaign to benefit the diverse communities we serve. By all accounts, the number of Latinos who have registered to vote this election is significant and we are proud of the efforts that Univision and its partners have made to promote our communities’ participation,” said Jessica Herrera-Flanigan, executive vice president of Government & Corporate Affairs. “Our duty, however, does not end when the voter registration deadlines pass so we are focusing our efforts in these final days on getting out the vote and giving our communities access to experts and resources so they can cast their ballots and make a lasting impact on the future of our nation.”

Leading up to Election Day, UCI’s ‘get out the vote’ efforts include:
