New York, April 29, 2015 /3BL Media/ – Time Warner Cable today announced that all calls placed by its Home Phone and Business Services customers to landline and mobile numbers in Nepal will be free through May 25, 2015, and is retroactive for all calls placed since April 25.

“Our thoughts are with those who have loved ones in Nepal and surrounding areas impacted by the devastating earthquake on April 25,” said Time Warner Cable Chairman and CEO Rob Marcus. “Being able to connect with family and friends is crucial during this time and, we hope, will bring some comfort and peace of mind.”

TWC Phone customers who make calls to Nepal during the eligible time period do not need to make any changes to their accounts. Customers who were charged on or after April 25 will automatically be credited.

TWC’s Home Phone National plan also provides free, unlimited calling to neighboring countries China and India, which also were impacted by the earthquake.
