Use Creative Spaces to Build a Green Culture

(3BL Media / theCSRfeed) August 16, 2011 - Organizations can develop a socially conscious culture without the use of top-down programs, new research reveals. This study outlines a number of factors important for successful cultural change and offers helpful strategies for managers trying to build a "green" culture.   

Jennifer Howard-Grenville, an assistant professor of management at the University of Oregon and co-author of the study notes "Change can be developed within such everyday organizational events as meetings or training programs. For these events to be effective, however, they must be safe places for people to experiment with new ideas."
