Cincinnati Reds third baseman, Todd Frazier, will be the featured Major Leaguer on the next Action Team monthly conference call, scheduled for Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 9 PM EST.

Todd, a New Jersey native, will be joined on the call by fellow Garden Staters and teen Action Team Captains from Bergenfield High School.

WEST HILLS, Calif., October  28, 2014 /3BL Media/- Every month, students from El Camino Real Charter High School (ECRCHS) Action Team, part of the national youth volunteer program administered by the Major League Baseball Players Trust and Volunteers of America give up some of their valuable personal time to help clean up Woolsey Canyon. On the second Sunday each month, from 9:00AM to noon, dozens of ECRCHS students gather to keep Woolsey Canyon environmentally pristine.

Our Action Teams of the Week are Bishop Ireton, HB Woodlawn, and St. Stephens & St. Agnes high schools from Virginia.
 
On Saturday, October 25, more than 20 Action Team Captains from Bishop Ireton, HB Woodlawn, and St. Stephens St. Agnes high schools joined forces with Alexandria Involved Ecumenically (ALIVE) to pack and distribute groceries for 200senior citizens and disabled residents of Ladrey High-Rise.

Our Action Team of the Week is Bergenfield High School from New Jersey.
 
Recently, the Bergenfield Action Team participated in the "Making Strides of Ridgefield Park Walk," dedicated to raising awareness and funds to support breast cancer research.
 
Bergenfield Action Team Captains encouraged and inspired 50 of their peers and faculty members to participate in the walk. Together, they raised $600 for the American Cancer Society.

East Coast Action Team Captains Convene In New York With Major Leaguers

Dozens of high school students from the  New York, New Jersey, Virginia and the Washington, D.C. area converged at Citi Field to train as Action Team high school volunteers.
 
Victor Black and Eric Young, Jr. of the Mets as well as Kevin Frandsen and Craig Stammen from the Nationals joined the young people in an auditorium at the ballpark hours before their game on Saturday evening for the volunteer group’s second regional training session.
