NEW YORK, February 1, 2021 /3BL Media/ — El Zoological Lighting Institute™ (ZLI) ha anunciado hoy un programa de colaboración con el Zoo Animal Welfare Education Center (ZAWEC) de la Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona. Los objetivos del programa son dar a conocer la importancia de la luz para el bienestar de los animales y poner de manifiesto la relación que existe entre el bienestar de los animales y el de las personas.

It’s a long way from dog meat farmer Il-Hwan Kim’s operation in South Korea to Washington, DC. Yet that’s the amazing journey being taken by 170 dogs rescued by Humane Society International’s Animal Rescue Team. Together with more than two dozen other dogs from previous HSI rescue operations who had been temporarily sheltered in South Korea, they’ll land in the United States on Friday afternoon. I’ll post a few photographs with an update once they’ve arrived.

Volunteering isn’t something that really crossed my mind. So, as I celebrate my tenth anniversary of volunteering at two animal shelters, I am grateful that I discovered it and am thankful for the impact it has had on my life.
