A precious metals refiner retained Antea Group to evaluate and improve their EHS programs with the end goal of achieving best in class EHS performance among the industry as a way to differentiate itself and create additional business opportunity. Their New Jersey industrial facility had deteriorating infrastructure and was recognized as a significant source of the client’s marginal EHS performance, and Antea Group was enlisted to assist with the relocation of manufacturing operations and to manage the EHS aspects of its’ startup.
Antea Group was contracted by one of the world’s largest chemical manufacturing organizations to provide equipment-specific lockout / tagout procedures at their largest Research and Develop facility in North America. The overall objective of the project was to evaluate the worker risks during maintenance and repair operations associated with laboratory equipment at the facility and to mitigate those risks through the development and implementation of equipment-specific lockout / tagout procedures.
Our client is a leading global supplier of tooling, engineered components and advanced materials consumed in production processes, and is represented in more than 60 countries. Antea Group was engaged to assist the company with the development and implementation of its global sustainability program and pursuit of its energy reduction goals.
The public comment period on the proposed revisions to the hazardous waste management program closed just before the end of 2015. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) proposed these regulations to ”address gaps in the regulations, provide greater flexibility for hazardous waste generators to manage their hazardous waste in a cost-effective and protective manner, and reorganize the hazardous waste generator regulations to make them more user-friendly and thus improve their usability by the regulated community.”
A state environmental agency contracted with Antea Group to assist in the execution of a state-wide clean drinking water program. Program objectives included the development of an efficient and standardized program to monitor for chemical and biological contaminants across more than 6,500 public water systems.
A natural gas supplier had completed an analysis of their worker’s compensation claims and realized they were seeing a major increase in ergonomic-related injuries to their field workers. Antea Group was called in to discuss strategies for evaluating the risk.
