Arbor Day Foundation Program Helps Rebuild and Beautify Communities One Tree at a Time
MIAMI, October 4, 2018 /3BL Media/ – The Arbor Day Foundation’s Miami Tree Recovery Campaign – a partnership between the Arbor Day Foundation and Verizon, FedEx, Million Trees Miami and Miami-Dade County will distribute 1,000 new trees this year to homeowners in Miami, Florida, on Saturday, October 6, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. until noon at Tropical Estates Park, 10201 SW 48 Street, Miami, FL 33165. These new trees will be free of charge, and help to replace trees damaged and destroyed by Hurricane Irma.
Texas Roadhouse employees plant trees in Beckley Creek Park and distribute free trees to residents

The first 225 resident who visit Texas Roadhouse (13321 Shelbyville Road, Louisville, Kentucky) on October 6, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. receive a free tree and an opportunity to meet with specially-trained Citizen Forester volunteers to learn instructions for tree planting and long-term maintenance.

Grove Collaborative commits to plant 100,000 trees in our nation’s forests

Fogg Charitable Trust underwrites the planting of 50,000 trees in Georgia forests
LINCOLN, Neb., July 26, 2018/3BL Media/ — The Arbor Day Foundation announced today a gift from the Edward C. Fogg, III and Lisbeth A. Fogg Charitable Trust. The Trust’s gift was given in December 2017 and has enabled the planting of 50,000 trees on 79 acres of forests in Wayne and Glynn Counties as well as the Upper Altamaha Watershed in southeast Georgia. As the trees mature they will not only sequester carbon dioxide, filter pollution out of the air and intercept rainfall, but they will also serve as a living memorial to the Fogg Family’s generosity.
