One Month To The Warrior Games Presented By Deloitte

Danny Dudek, a U.S. Army lieutenant colonel who was wounded in Baghdad and is now deputy chief of staff for the Warrior Transition Command, is making his second trip to the Warrior Games presented by Deloitte exactly one month from today.

Dudek, who served more than 20 years on active duty and three years as a reservist, has participated in cycling events, marathons, sprint triathlons and skis throughout the year.

Carolina Panthers coach Ron Rivera has a simple directive for his players starting on day one: "Be a man." 

Rivera has certainly earned his "man card." He was the son of an Army officer and played linebacker for Mike Ditka on the 1985 Chicago Bears as part of Buddy Ryan's ferocious "46" defense. He returned to the Super Bowl with the Bears as defensive coordinator in February 2007 and has been coaching the Panthers since 2011.

Deloitte is teaming up with Olympic and Paralympic athletes to present a month-long, 10-stop national campus tour targeting career-minded students.

The nine athletes who will share their successful journeys on campus include: 2012 Olympic gold medalist Abby Wambach (soccer), 2012 Olympic silver medalist Cullen Jones (swimming), 2012 Olympian and two-time gold medalist Mariel Zagunis (fencing), 2012 Olympian Jonathan Horton (gymnastics) and 2012 Paralympian April Holmes (track & field).
