Each year the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption ranks the nation’s employers based on their adoption benefits. This self-reported list is a way to highlight the organizations in the United States who stand with us in our support of adoption and adoption benefits that allow more and more families to grow through adoption.

One of the top 100 companies of 2017 is Robins & Morton. Founded in 1946, this privately held construction company is one of the largest in the nation.

In just a few days, the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption will launch its 2018 Best Adoption-Friendly Workplace survey. This survey measures the financial reimbursement given to employees who adopt, paid time off to employees who adopt as well as any benefits given to employees who are foster parents.

The Best Adoption-Friendly Workplace survey encompasses benefits for ALL types of adoptions.

Kentucky’s First Lady shares her adoption story

The first family of Kentucky is making their connection to adoption very well-known as they continue to ensure adoption benefits remain a priority for state employees. This year, the Commonwealth of Kentucky ranked second as an industry leader in the government category on the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption’s annual Best Adoption-Friendly Workplace list. Kentucky offers $5,000 in financial assistance to employees who adopt. Kentucky’s First Lady, Glenna Bevin wanted to share her story:
