Synthesizing research from a series of seminal studies on U.S. military families, the Social Cost Analysis of the Unemployment and Underemployment of Military Spouses found that adverse employment conditions among military spouses cost society approximately $710 million to $1.07 billion per year.

Disney Junior is bringing the role-modeling messages of its acclaimed animated series “Doc McStuffins” to The Yards Park on Tuesday, September 17 in the form of The Doc Mobile, a free event that invites kids age 2-7 to perform a "check-up" on their own toys plus participate in other activities and health and wellness lessons including nutrition and physical development.
