Announcement Made By Carnival President Christine Duffy at Dr. Seuss-Inspired ‘Day of Play’ for Patients and Their Families at the Memphis, Tennessee Hospital
MIAMI, September 28, 2015 /3BL Media/ - After achieving a $5 million fundraising goal for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®, Carnival Cruise Line has announced an additional $10 million goal by 2020, while continuing its role as the hospital’s Official Celebration Partner.
Infection control is essential in schools, where children are vulnerable to the spread of illness. Those illnesses can cause children to miss schools, and absenteeism can have lasting effects on performance and productivity.
With summer ending and kids back to school, it’s hard enough getting your children out of bed each morning and into routine, not to mention the daily chore of making their lunches. It sounds simple, but this can be a daunting task: how to keep it healthy, interesting, tasty, and eco-friendly?
September 10, 2015 /3BL Media/ - August 26 was National Cherry Popsicle Day and, for the third year in a row, Carnival Cruise Line provided a delicious treat of hundreds of cherry popsicles to the kids at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, one of the cruise line's top charitable partners.
The National Cherry Popsicle Day celebration continues Carnival's ongoing support of St. Jude which includes a goal of raising $8 million by 2017 through a variety of on-board fundraising activities and serving as St. Jude Children's Research Hospital's Official Celebration Partner.
