Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Cole Hamels and his wife Heidi created The Hamels Foundation to provide support for quality education in the United States and establish a school in Malawi, Africa. The Hamels Foundation takes a community-based approach to education by providing assistance to schools as well as supporting other education based non-profit entities in the United States in need of support.

Sanofi Turkey recently celebrated their 2nd Sanofi Children’s Day, which focused on the health of employees and their children. This initiative followed Turkey’s official National Sovereignty and Children’s Day. Approximately 100 children participated in the day, with many activities designed for them, including “Healthy Teeth” awareness and other wellness activities, supported by Enfants de Sanofi.
Sanofi employees are already looking forward to next year’s Children’s Day which is now becoming a tradition in Sanofi Turkey.
Growing up, I was blessed with a healthy childhood but two close friends of mine were not as lucky. Many times I saw how their physical challenges hindered them from enjoying the same lifestyle as me. Seeing the challenges my friends and their families went thru to complete day to day activities, inspired me to help other children (and their families) overcome some of the same challenges.
