On Thursday, March 15 nine players including Ashley Cole, Giovani dos Santos, Sebastian Lletget, Rolf Feltscher, Emmanuel Boateng, Jorgen Skjelvik, Daniel Steres, Chris Pontius, Brian Sylvestre and Tomas Hilliard-Arse spent the afternoon at CHLA, along with LA Galaxy Mascot, visiting outpatients and their families in their rooms.

In celebration of National Blood Donor Month, AEG’s LA Kings will team up with its longstanding partner, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) to conduct blood drives outside of STAPLES Center prior to all of the team’s home games in January. Dates of blood drives to include Jan. 6, Jan. 13, Jan. 18 and Jan. 21.

Blood drives will begin two hours prior the game’s scheduled start time (5:30 p.m. on Jan. 6, Jan. 13 and Jan. 21; 5 p.m. on Jan. 18). All interested donors are encouraged to stop by CHLA’s Blood Mobile stationed on Chick Hearn Court to learn more and donate.

The weekend of September 16th was a victorious and charitable one for the Fox Triathlon Team, who raised $96,000 for pediatric cancer research at Children's Hospital Los Angeles - all while earning the impressive title of overall fastest team for the Nautica Malibu Triathlon.

Fox Employees Raise $124,000 for Pediatric Cancer Research

For the fifth year in a row, more than 100 Fox employees competed in the Nautica Malibu Triathlon presented by Equinox, an annual event that raises money for the pediatric cancer research center Children's Hospital Los Angeles. This was the first year that the Fox team won the Entertainment Industry Challenge, beating out triathlon teams from other media companies and raising nearly $124,000 for Children's Hospital LA.
