The Corporate Business Center will be a significant expansion of the company’s current corporate campus, located on South Wilcox Drive in Kingsport, Tenn.
October 1, 2014 /3BL Media/ - The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recognized Eastman Chemical Company with an ENERGY STAR® Combined Heat and Power (CHP) Award for excellence in combined heat and power operations at its Kingsport site.
Earlier this year, Eastman Chemical Company was honored by the EPA with an ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year Sustained Excellence award. On the heels of its 2012 and 2013 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year recognitions, Eastman was the first chemical company to achieve Sustained Excellence, ENERGY STAR’s highest award.

July 31, 2014 /3BL Media/ - Eastman Chemical Company and Commonwealth Laminating and Coating Inc. have announced a unique educational partnership with Patrick Henry Community College (PHCC) to create a new “Advanced Film Certification” in Martinsville, Va.
According to the program’s website, the 28-credit certification will prepare students for a career in advanced film manufacturing and related industries in an area that produces more than 30 percent of the world’s coated and dyed film.
