Thanks to HanesBrands and the Rotary Club of San Salvador, the nights will be a little brighter for more than 120 families who live and/or work near our facilities in El Salvador. They recently received free solar panel kits, a source of renewable energy to households that currently have no (or very limited access to) electric power.
The solar kit, developed in El Salvador, is designed to provide electricity to rural communities in developing countries. Each kit is composed of a solar photocell panel, lamp, battery charger, radio and cell phone charger.
