More than 20 years ago, I joined Comcast as a technician and cable installer. My career has taken me from coast to coast, with roles in Chicago, Seattle, Houston, New Hampshire, and now Philadelphia. But no matter what my title was or where I was working, one thing that remained constant was the passion of the colleagues I worked with when it came to supporting our communities.

Growing up, Tony Speller’s family struggled to make ends meet. He and his siblings spent a lot of time at a local recreation center that helped keep them off the streets and out of trouble.
Today, Tony is vice president of technical operations and engineering for Comcast in the Philadelphia region. He gives back to United Way to support after-school programs so other kids can find their paths to success.
