WINDSOR, Ontario, June 20, 2018 /3BL Media/ - FCA’s Windsor Assembly Plant (WAP) has won a Canadian Industry Partnership for Energy Conservation (CIPEC) Leadership Award. The recognition comes for key Process and Technology Improvements from a plant initiative that resulted in an approximate 30 per cent annual energy savings of existing chilled water system and reduced Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions equivalent to almost 21 homes’ energy use per annum.

As part of the Suppliers Partnership for the Environment quarterly meeting, environmental reps from Daimler, Ford, General Motors, Honda, Toyota and various auto suppliers got their hands dirty to help FCA US replenish a pollinator garden on our North American headquarters campus in Auburn Hills, Michigan.

Funding from the FCA Foundation will help ensure that more children have access to Meet Up and Eat Up and School Breakfast Programs

The grant will help United Way implement two primary strategies to ensure that more children have access to and participate in child nutrition programs throughout the school year and during the summer.
