Hundreds of families gathered in Detroit last Thursday night for a meal symbolizing the impact that United Way of Southeastern Michigan (UWSEM) plans to make during the next two years.
“It Takes a Family” will serve as the campaign’s theme and backdrop to the “ambitious goal” of raising $100 million announced by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles CEO and new United Way Campaign Chair Sergio Marchionne. The money raised will support key initiatives around United Way’s Early Development, Healthy Kids, College and Career Pathways and Basic Needs programs.
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has once again been included in the prestigious Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) World. The Company received a score of 87/100 compared with an overall average of 54/100 for companies in the Automobiles industry evaluated by RobecoSAM, the specialist in sustainability investment.
