WOONSOCKET, R.I., Aug. 21, 2013 /3BL Media/ --A new survey from CVS/pharmacy released today found that less than half of those surveyed (46%) were more likely to get a flu shot this year following last season's late flu outbreak. But many more - 59% - said they consider it a social responsibility to get the flu shot every year in order to keep their community healthy and minimize the spread of the influenza virus.

The health sector invested $193 million dollars in U.S. election campaigns, according to the Center for Responsive Politics, a non-partisan group that analyzes political spending. More money was contributed to President Barack Obama than Mitt Romney, but when congressional races were added in, Republicans received 56 percent of all health sector contributions.
