SCRANTON, PA, September 18, 2015 /3BL Media/ – Tonight, at the 8th annual Lackawanna County Community Fundraiser, VaxServe and Sanofi Pasteur executives announced that more than $230,000 has been raised for three local nonprofit organizations, which includes a significant donation made by VaxServe and Sanofi Pasteur.

At the “Jazzin It Up” event held at POSH at the Scranton Club, a check for the grand total was presented to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Northeastern Pennsylvania, Employment Opportunity and Training Center (EOTC), and Marley’s Mission.

Pediatric Patients Create Disney Miracle Mural

Event supports Children's Hospital of Orange County fundraiser

If you're in Downtown Disneyland this October, be sure to check out the Honda Miracle Mural located on the walkway between the Disneyland® Hotel and the Downtown Disney® District in Anaheim, Calif. Nearly 200 pediatric patients from the Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) were joined by guardians, siblings, friends and donors to hand-paint 192 ceramic tiles as a part of the Paint Your Way to Miracles and Magic fundraiser.

Susquehanna Service Dogs puppy raiser Meghan Miller is often asked how she can give up a dog after raising it for 18 months. She and her husband gave up their first service dog, SSD London, in October 2014. Since then, she has seen how London has given his partner new independence, new responsibilities, and new dreams. 

Meghan and her husband are currently raising two more dogs to become service dogs. Now when people ask how she can give the dogs up, she says, "How can I not?"

Players Trust Joins “Live Below The Line” Kickoff Event In NYC


“Empathy not Sympathy” was the theme for the “Live Below the Line” official launch party.

In addition to the Players Trust, representatives from campaign partners Concern Worldwide, Heifer International, Opportunity International, UNHCR, Unicef and The Hunger Project also convened at Milk Studios in Manhattan on Friday night to celebrate the campaign launch.
