SCRANTON, PA, September 18, 2015 /3BL Media/ – Tonight, at the 8th annual Lackawanna County Community Fundraiser, VaxServe and Sanofi Pasteur executives announced that more than $230,000 has been raised for three local nonprofit organizations, which includes a significant donation made by VaxServe and Sanofi Pasteur.
At the “Jazzin It Up” event held at POSH at the Scranton Club, a check for the grand total was presented to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Northeastern Pennsylvania, Employment Opportunity and Training Center (EOTC), and Marley’s Mission.

Susquehanna Service Dogs puppy raiser Meghan Miller is often asked how she can give up a dog after raising it for 18 months. She and her husband gave up their first service dog, SSD London, in October 2014. Since then, she has seen how London has given his partner new independence, new responsibilities, and new dreams.
Meghan and her husband are currently raising two more dogs to become service dogs. Now when people ask how she can give the dogs up, she says, "How can I not?"
