A report from the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) gave several South Florida-based companies perfect scores in its 2015 Corporate Equality Index this week.
The assessment rated 781 U.S. companies on the equality of their employment opportunities, employment benefits, LGBT competency and public commitment to LGBT-specific efforts like marketing to LGBT consumers. Points were deducted if the company had any known activity that was seen as anti-LGBT in recent public records.
November 20, 2014 /3BL Media/ - The Clorox Company has earned a top rating of 100 percent on the Human Rights Campaign's 2015 Corporate Equality Index (CEI). The CEI is a nationally recognized benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to lesbian, gay bisexual and transgender (LGBT) equality in the workplace.
Since 2006, Clorox has earned a perfect rating on the CEI and has been named one of the Best Places to Work for LGBT Equality.
