Leonardo Academy and GAIN Clean Fuel Secure $500,000 Grant to Build CNG Station in Maryland

MADISON, Wis., June 16, 2015 /3BL Media/ - Leonardo Academy announced this week that the Maryland Energy Administration has awarded the Maryland Natural Gas Refueling Station Grant, which Leonardo Academy submitted on behalf of GAIN Clean Fuel. The grant award, totaling approximately $500,000, will support GAIN® Clean Fuel‘s construction of a compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling station in Baltimore, MD.

Leonardo Academy and GAIN Clean Fuel Secure $1.2 Million Grant to Support Building CNG Stations in Pennsylvania

Madison, Wis., June 10, 2015 /3BL Media/ - Leonardo Academy announced this week that the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development ACE Program has awarded two grants that Leonardo Academy submitted on behalf of GAIN Clean Fuel. The grant awards which total approximately $1.2 million, will support GAIN Clean Fuel ‘s construction of compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling stations in Fairless Hills, PA and Fredericksburg, PA. Both stations will be open to the public and are located near major Interstate highways.

Leonardo Academy Awarded $900,000 EPA Grant for Clean Diesel Projects in USEPA Region 6

EPA Region 6 awarded the grant as part of the National Clean Diesel Funding Assistance Program.

Leonardo Academy Awarded EPA Grant for Clean Diesel Projects in USEPA Region 5

Madison, Wisconsin, May 19, 2015 /3BL Media/ – Leonardo Academy has been awarded $951,457 from the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to help reduce emissions from diesel engines in EPA Region 5, which includes Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Michigan, and Wisconsin. The EPA Region 5 and the Midwest Clean Diesel Initiative (MCDI) awarded the grant as part of the National Clean Diesel Funding Assistance Program.  

National Sustainable Agriculture Standard (LEO-4000) Moves Closer to Completion as Second Public Comment Period is Launched

The ground-breaking standard, developed through the American National Standards Institute’s (ANSI) open, multi- stakeholder process, provides voluntary guidance and opportunities for recognition for producers interested in or engaged in sustainable crop production. Both the public comment period and the Standard Committee ballot period will close on May 18, 2015.
