The VF Foundation (the charitable arm of VF Corporation) and the Timberland® and Wrangler® brands today announced $150,000 in grants to researchers at seven US universities — including Arizona State University and Michigan State University — that are conducting the first comprehensive research into regenerative ranching practices.

It’s not unusual to hear comments like that from some of the people we work with at Oasis. They are just beginning to learn about the benefits of online activities. It might be hard to believe, but a recent study by Pew Research concluded that 33% of Americans don’t currently have internet at home. Thirty nine percent of these non-adopters are over the age of 65.

Republic Reminds Flint Residents of Recycling Resources and New Water Distribution Site

FLINT, Mich., February 5, 2016/3BL Media/ – Republic Services is teaming up with student athletes from Michigan State University, the Michigan Community Service Commission, and various community partners and volunteers, to assist with recycling resources and ongoing water distribution efforts on Friday, February 5. The team will help open a new recycling and water distribution site, as well as collect empty water bottles, distribute recycling bags and bins, and enroll residents in the City’s recycling program.
