It is official! The Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) has independently validated and approved Illumina’s climate action GHG emissions reduction targets. Approving our targets indicates they have been confirmed to be consistent with the reductions required to keep warming to 1.5°C, the most ambitious goal of the Paris Agreement and most ambitious designation available through the SBTi verification process.
