Leonardo Academy Awarded EPA Grant for Clean Diesel Projects in USEPA Region 5

Madison, Wisconsin, May 19, 2015 /3BL Media/ – Leonardo Academy has been awarded $951,457 from the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to help reduce emissions from diesel engines in EPA Region 5, which includes Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Michigan, and Wisconsin. The EPA Region 5 and the Midwest Clean Diesel Initiative (MCDI) awarded the grant as part of the National Clean Diesel Funding Assistance Program.  

Leonardo Academy Partners with UPS and Coca-Cola to Improve Air Quality

MADISON, Wis., October 30, 2012 /3BL Media/ - Through a grant provided by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Leonardo Academy continues to help reduce emissions from older, less efficient vehicles throughout the country. Partnering with Coca-Cola Refreshments and United Parcel Service (UPS), who contributed over $3.2 million to this project, this award helped fund the replacement of 40 heavy duty diesel delivery trucks.

EPA, Region 5 and the Midwest Clean Diesel Initiative awarded the grant as part of the National Clean Diesel Funding Assistance Program. Leonardo Academy will use the grant for clean diesel projects in Wisconsin that significantly reduce fuel emissions from long-haul trucks, school bus and municipal bus fleets.
