Within this context, Matthews Asia launched the Matthews Asia ESG Fund more than four years ago. Managed by Vivek Tanneeru, the Fund seeks to capitalize on the growth of the region by investing with an ESG lens.
A pair of $58,100 shoes are helping bring new STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) education resources to Bay Area teachers today. The Stephen and Ayesha Curry Family Foundation and DonorsChoose.org hosted a special charitable campaign on eBay this January, auctioning off a pair of custom, game-worn “Moon Landing” Under Armour Curry 6 basketball shoes. The charity campaign raised $58,100, which will fund local teacher requests on DonorsChoose.org, a nonprofit website where teachers request the resources and experiences their students need to succeed.
