Canteen truck donated by FedEx in 2013 to The Salvation Army in Sao Paulo, Brazil continues to be put to good use. Most recently, it has been used to provide 6,000 meals and hygiene items to people impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.

While studying meteorology at the University of Hawaii in the 1970s, Cyndhi Berwyn began flying gliders. In her senior year, the US Air Force decided to allow women to become pilots in the service. After she competed for a slot and was selected as one of the first women in that program, she became an Air Force instructor, flying T-37s and T-38s. Her career made a roaring start.
During the current coronavirus pandemic, we are hearing about so many wonderful acts of kindness and about nonprofits and companies that are dedicating resources to help. These organizations, and the teams that are making things happen, are driven by individuals with big hearts and community spirit.
Recently, 450 hygiene kits for individuals and families in need were provided by Heart to Heart International, a global humanitarian organization based in Lenexa, Kansas, to the Rahway Family Success Center in Rahway, New Jersey.
