In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Rockwell Automation was a proud sponsor of the YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee’s 24th annual celebration breakfast, which launched a five-day virtual event (Jan. 18-22) focusing on Deliberate Dialogue Discussions, a series of intentional conversations focusing on the social determinants of health. Rockwell leaders and close to 10 members of Rockwell’s African American Professional Network attended the event.
Purdue University’s Polytechnic Institute (Purdue Polytechnic) is receiving support from major technology companies for the college’s Smart Manufacturing program and facilities. Microsoft, Rockwell Automation, PTC, Endress+Hauser, Foundry Education Foundation, International Society of Automation, and the US-DoE Clean Energy Smart Manufacturing Innovation Institute (CESMII) are collaborating to support faculty and staff of the Polytechnic as they transform learning to prepare the next generation of graduates specializing in 21st-century manufacturing technologies.
At the close of 2020, Rockwell Automation was proud to contribute more than $3 million to United Way agencies serving the greater Cleveland area in Ohio and Milwaukee and Waukesha counties in southeast Wisconsin.
According to a new Catalyst Report, “Towards a More Equitable Future: The Catalyst CEO Champions For Change”, more than 70 global chief executive officers who are also part of the Catalyst CEO Champions For Change are elevating more women in leadership positions. Rockwell Automation, in partnership with MIND Research Institute and Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS), launched its first Milwaukee Math Week Challenge on Monday, Dec. 14, at 8 a.m. through midnight Friday, Dec. 18. With so many kids today relying on virtual schooling, Milwaukee Math Week offered a fun way for students and families to play a game together while strengthening core math, reading, and science skills.
