GE, Clean Energy Fuels Partner to Expand Natural Gas Highway

GE and Clean Energy Fuels announced a collaboration to expand the infrastructure for natural gas transportation in the United States.

The agreement supports Clean Energy's efforts in developing America's Natural Gas Highway, a fueling network that will enable trucks to operate on liquefied natural gas coast to coast and border to border.

Scott Jackson, who starts in his new role October 3, brings 20-plus years of experience in strategic fundraising. He will be directly responsibility for workplace giving, campaign management for the Combined Federal Campaigns, public and private-sector partnerships, and strategic alliances. Jackson joins Global Impact after five years as Vice President for External Relations at PATH. Earlier, he managed a fundraising portfolio of more than $60 million. He also founded TRADEC (Trade and Development Consortium), one of the first marketing and communications firms in North America to specialize in international trade promotion, technology transfer and market access.

The Combined Federal Campaign of the National Capital Area (CFCNCA) kicked off today with a Leadership Conference for more than 600 Federal government employees in Washington, D.C. The CFCNCA, managed by Global Impact, is the only authorized workplace charitable giving drive for employees in the Federal workplace. Campaign leaders announced the 2011 goal of $67.2 million to help local communities in the U.S. and globally.
