Hair salon donates all proceeds from day's services to photographic storytelling project
NEW YORK, April, 22 2013 /3BL Media/ — On Sunday, April 28 PCI-Media Impact will hold a fundraiser at the Aaron Emanuel Salon to raise money for their ongoing Liberia Photovoice project, which, seeks to empower survivors of sexual violence in the country’s capital city. From 9am to 6:30pm, Aaron Emanuel, located at 307 E 77th St, New York City will donate all proceeds from blowout services to support the next phase of the project.
Environmental campaign based on a popular radio drama motivates students to get involved
April 9, 2013 /3BL Media/ - Primary schools across St. Lucia are bubbling with excitement after being visited by a White-breasted Thrasher, Iguana, Coral and “Tin Tin” as part of a series of activities that are being led by PCI Media Impact as part of My Island-My Community.
The students played, sang and asked questions with the mascots as part of a campaign to raise awareness about the important role that nature plays in protecting the community from climate change.
NEW YORK, March 6, 2013 /3BL Media/ – PCI-Media Impact premiered a hip co music video, “Song for Hawa,” to help prevent violence against women and girls. The video featuring Takun J, recently awarded Best Hip Co Artist of the Year by the Liberian Entertainment Awards, was shown to over 700 change-makers at the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women kickoff event on Sunday.
