Xylem Volunteers Participate in a “Run 4 Water” in Veterans Park, Milwaukee

Every time a registered employee of one of Xylem’s commercial partners learns about, selects or specifies Xylem products within Building Services, they collect drops. For every single drop, Xylem contributes one U.S. dollar to Watermark to use toward building a Planet Water Foundation AquaTower, providing clean water and hygiene education at schools around the world.

Xylem Team Ludwigsburg Volunteers at Jugendfarm Kornwestheim

Xylem Germany’s Team Ludwigsburg sent 11 employee volunteers, along with their family and friends, to conduct a clean-up of a children’s and youth’s farm, Jugendfarm Kornwestheim. There, they repaired water faucets, the roof of an oven, and several storage spaces on the farm. 

In addition, one Xylem volunteer gave participating children a lesson on how water on the farm is actually getting to the sheep. The children learned about pumping systems and stations, as well as the treatment and transport of water, covering the entire water cycle.
