The Heroes at Home program provides home modifications and repairs for low-income and disabled veterans and their families. To date, Sears has raised more than $18 million for Heroes at Home and this renovation -- for married veterans and Purple Heart recipients Todd and Cathy Shaw -- is one of the 1,500 projects made possible through generous donations from Shop Your Way® members and customers.

WASHINGTON, DC, June 19, 2014 /3BL Media/ - In an effort to make communities safer, healthier, and more environmentally aware, Rebuilding Together and Philips are partnering to host six large volunteer projects across the country this summer and fall. As part of these projects, hundreds of volunteers will provide critical repairs and renovations to homes and community centers through the Philips Cares employee community service program.
In May 2014, hundreds of volunteers gathered on the west side of Columbus, Ohio to rebuild and restore 17 homes. More than 40 Honda volunteers worked together to provide critical updates to two homes - providing clean, safe and organized environments for residents.
More than 80 Lowe’s Heroes employees will take part in the two-day community revitalization effort in Boston
