PHILADELPHIA, May 9, 2019 /3BL Media/ – Leaders and staff from Green Mountain Energy Sun Club joined the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House to commemorate Sun Club-funded sustainability projects at the non-profit, including the unveiling of a 5-foot-solar-powered sculpture in a new orchard today. The sculpture, orchard, and an accompanying 125 kilowatt solar array, are additions to the Philadelphia campus made possible through a grant worth more than $315,000 from the Sun Club.

Employee Volunteers From Hallmark Canada Prepped Meals for Families at Ronald McDonald House

In 2017, Canadian Hallmark employees participated in the “Home for Dinner” program in support of the Ronald McDonald House in Toronto. The employees provided volunteers and funds to prepare and pay for a dinner, which fed 130 family members. In all, the dinner donation totaled $1,500, with an additional monetary donation of $4,700 given to the Ronald McDonald House.

AEG’s LA Kings and Blue Shield of California teamed up to host a Halloween Party at the Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House on Tuesday, October 30. Throughout the afternoon, volunteers from the Kings and Blue Shield of California – including LA Kings center Nate Thompson and his wife Sydney –  prepared and distributed gift bags, decorated cookies with guests, led Halloween-themed arts and crafts and played a lively game of ball hockey.
