A donation of nearly 2,000 boxes will support school meal distributions.

For many students, school-provided breakfast and lunch serve as their only meals of the day. To ensure students continue to receive the nutrition they need, the food bank is using the boxes to deliver food supplies to district students.

Hunger doesn’t discriminate. It affects the young and the old, families of every size, shape and background.  The challenge, sadly, knows no bounds. Ten thousands miles away – in India – the problem is acute. Here, some students who go to government schools often don’t have enough to eat.  Mothers sometimes don’t have enough to feed their children.
