AEG, the world’s leading sports and live entertainment company, recently teamed up with Mayor Eric Garcetti in Los Angeles to host the Evolve Entertainment Fund (EEF) 2019 Summer Kickoff at L.A. LIVE on June 15, 2019.
The EEF is a public-private partnership aimed at creating new opportunities for communities that have been historically excluded from the entertainment industry through an alliance between the City of Los Angeles, industry leaders in entertainment, such as AEG, and digital media, non-profit organizations, and educational institutions.
Many companies have already focused their carbon-reduction plans on the SBTi’s former criteria aligned with a 2-degree scenario and may have to scramble to meet the new goal. But several are already ahead of the game and have certified their targets through SBTi’s new standard.

Throughout the month of April, AEG Facilities venues around the United States hosted a variety of sustainability-focused events in their local communities in celebration of Earth Month and AEG’s commitment to reducing its environmental impact.
Through AEG 1EARTH, the company’s industry-leading sustainability program, AEG Facilities staff planted trees, built gardens, cleaned trails and stretches of highway, collected e-waste and more.
