When combined with last year’s donation of 50,000 blankets, Subaru and its retailers will have donated a total of 100,000 blankets to those experiencing homelessness. This year, in addition to 50,000 blankets, the automaker and participating retailers will also provide 50,000 pairs of socks to homeless shelters across the country.

Representatives from Subaru of America, Inc. presented “thank you” care bundles to support departments at Cooper University Health Care and MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper for their outstanding efforts during the pandemic.
Nearly 950 team members in the Environmental Services, Food and Nutrition, Transport, Security and Maintenance departments, along with staff members at MD Anderson at Cooper, received a care package containing numerous gift cards to local retail stores and restaurants as well as transportation vouchers.
In order to bolster resources for LGBTQ youth, the Pride program recently partnered with Subaru of America’s LGBTQ employee resource group Out+Ally, which has supported the organization in past initiatives. In addition to donating $7,000 in laptops to the Pride program so youth can ultimately keep going to work and school as well as communicate with their case managers, Out+Ally committed to working with the Pride Task Force, a group of young queer and trans alumni of the Pride program who push for LGBTQ youth housing and basic rights.
