Arbor Day Foundation Program Helps Rebuild and Beautify Communities One Tree at a Time
MIAMI, October 4, 2018 /3BL Media/ – The Arbor Day Foundation’s Miami Tree Recovery Campaign – a partnership between the Arbor Day Foundation and Verizon, FedEx, Million Trees Miami and Miami-Dade County will distribute 1,000 new trees this year to homeowners in Miami, Florida, on Saturday, October 6, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. until noon at Tropical Estates Park, 10201 SW 48 Street, Miami, FL 33165. These new trees will be free of charge, and help to replace trees damaged and destroyed by Hurricane Irma.

Grove Collaborative commits to plant 100,000 trees in our nation’s forests
LINCOLN, Neb. August 1, 2018 /3BL Media/ — The Arbor Day Foundation announced today a new partnership with Grove Collaborative — an auto-shipment service offering natural household products — to plant 100,000 trees in forests of high need. Grove Collaborative has pledged to donate 1 percent of sales from Grove Collaborative’s Seedling branded paper products toward the Foundation’s reforestation efforts on an ongoing basis.

I recently had the opportunity to join over 800 Rotary members from 30 different countries at Rotary’s Presidential Peacebuilding Conference in Vancouver, British Columbia. The conference was focused on Environmental Sustainability and Peace, the first of six Peacebuilding Conferences to be held in different locations around the world on Rotary’s core focus areas.
