The Avis Budget Group has signed a “Statement of Support” to formalize the company’s practice of providing employment opportunities to veterans. The Statement is an initiative of the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, a Department of the Defense Agency. Avis Budget is also enrolled in the 100,000 Jobs Mission, a coalition of major corporations that have committed to hire that number of transitioning service members and military veterans by 2020.
