Campaign: COMERICA CARES

Comerica remains committed to building up the communities we serve and one example of that is through our work to assist homeless North Texas veterans. Texas Market President Brian Foley and members of our Military/Veteran Market Segmentation team joined Operation Tiny House to build a tiny home for homeless veterans that will ultimately provide a big impact.

Volunteers assembled the newest tiny house outside our Garland-Jupiter banking center, installing floors, interior walls and exterior stairs. As part of a special tradition with each build, volunteers inscribed messages of thanks and support for the veterans receiving the home.

The organization, a participant in this year’s The Nest Pitch Competition sponsored by Comerica Bank, strives to provide transitional and permanent housing, job training and employment opportunities for Veterans experiencing homelessness. The home will be part of a community of tiny homes where veterans will have the opportunity to live, work and volunteer in a tiny house community.
