New Epsilon Bulk Repack Room Dedicated at Food Bank’s West Suburban Center

On May 31, Northern Illinois Food Bank dedicated the Epsilon Bulk Repack Room, celebrating its ongoing, generous partnership with Epsilon, an Alliance Data company.
The Epsilon Bulk Repack Room is designed to safely handle donations of bulk dry goods like cereal, pasta and rice, and repackage them into family-sized portions. Since the Food Bank's West Suburban Center was opened in 2011, the bulk repack program processes 150,000 meals with the help of 2,500 volunteers every year.
"The Epsilon Bulk Repack room is at the heart of what makes the Food Bank so efficient with donations and financial support," said Julie Yurko, CEO of Northern Illinois Food Bank. "It's fitting that we recognize Epsilon's tremendous support - both in time and financial gifts - by naming it after their company."
Epsilon began its partnership with Northern Illinois Food Bank in 2016, when parent company Alliance Data established a corporate commitment to fighting hunger in the communities in which they live and work.
