Helping beat cancer, CASE Construction Equipment a global construction brand of CNH Industrial N.V. (NYSE: CNHI/ MI: CNHI), is using its equipment to help in the fight against breast cancer with the pink CASE CX60C excavator, part of the six-machine CASE fleet working on various groundwork, road construction and building projects across the South of England.

This vehicle belongs to Sean O’Connor, Managing Director of MEC Groundworks, who knows first-hand the effect that a breast cancer diagnosis can have on a family. For this reason, he decided to use his business to help generate funds to further research, diagnosis and treatment. Together with the dealer, LDH Plant, he painted one of his new machines pink and added the Breast Cancer Awareness ribbon.

The pink CASE excavator was not only made to stand out, but also spread awareness and be used as a beacon during charity events such as the MEC Groundworks summer party. “It was great to see the pink machine as a focus for the MEC Groundworks summer party,” comments Michael Ward, CEO, LDH Plant, which helped raise funds and spread the message about the fight against cancer.

“We’re always keen to support our customers and dealers when they are campaigning for a good cause, as it echoes our brand values of building communities,” said Anthony Bouvié, Head of Northern Europe Sales and Marketing, at CASE Construction.

CASE has a long-standing commitment to supporting charitable initiatives and has previously raised money for cancer charities at various events throughout the USA and Europe.
