Over 20 CNH Industrial employees recently joined a force of volunteers to support the annual spring clean-up efforts of the Racine Zoo in Racine, Wisconsin.

Volunteers helped with a number of clean-up and beautification activities such as cleaning up flower beds, planting and mulching to get the Zoo ready for the summer season.

“Our work with the Racine Zoo allows us to connect with our local community,” said Bonnie Sikora, Human Resources Manager at CNH Industrial in Racine. “Volunteering at the Zoo is a unique and rewarding experience for our team. Employees have the opportunity to support local initiatives like this during year-round Impact Days designed by CNH Industrial to facilitate volunteerism activities, as well as on their own through Volunteer Time Off.”

The Racine Zoo, a nonprofit, covers 28-acres on the shores of Lake Michigan and was established in 1923 by Jacob Stoffel, Jr. CNH Industrial has worked with the Zoo on previous occasions and also donated equipment through its CASE Construction Equipment brand in 2019 to help with general Zoo maintenance work.
