Mars has been in business since 1911 — and we want to be thriving in another hundred years. Our Associates take a scientific approach to the challenges that we face, working with the best and brightest around the world to solve the problems we encounter as a business and in society.

Which is why, each year, we join hundreds of the top scientists from around the world, including Nobel Laureates, for the annual Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings (LiNo) in Germany. We also sponsor 15 young scientists to attend LiNo, meet with Mars science leaders, and learn about the innovative work we do developing solutions in confectionery, petcare, sustainability, and more. This year, we’re showcasing our progress restoring coral reefs in Indonesia, and focusing on how physics can be applied to marine science and coral conservation.

The LiNo Meetings are a key part of Mars’ scientific outreach. They allow us to showcase our commitment to science and innovation; and collaborate with leading organizations, scientists, and talent from around the world. It’s where we further the meaningful dialogue between industry and academia, and one more way we continue to shape the world we want tomorrow.
