P&G and Global Citizen Team up on World Recovery Plan Sustain Post-Pandemic Recovery
We’re teaming up with Global Citizen to call for international solidarity and renewed commitments for a fairer, more equal future for everyone. It’s called the World Recovery Plan, and we’re supporting these efforts because at P&G, our goal is to Lead With Love in every community we touch.
Right now the world is facing serious challenges that impact all of us. We’re stepping forward to Lead with Love through our company and brand acts of good supporting key aspects of the World Recovery Plan:
- Resume Learning Everywhere
- Protect the Planet
- Equity for All
Resume Learning Everywhere
COVID-19 school closures have affected 1.5 billion kids, especially girls, worldwide — with 33% unable to access any form of remote learning. Nearly 2 billion people under the age of 24 lack internet connection — causing those who can’t access remote learning to fall behind.
P&G is stepping forward to Lead with Love to support education in communities around the world.
One Million Connected Devices Now
In the United States, we’ve partnered with Dell Technologies, Intel, Dow Jones, Fidelity, Microsoft Corporation, PNC Bank, PolicyLink, Walmart, Comcast through our Take on Race partnership for the One Million Connected Devices Now initiative. Through this partnership, we will be able to help students acquire the tools they need to thrive in their education — putting one million devices with reliable internet connectivity and tech support in the hands of students of color for the 2020/2021 academic year. Learn how you can help.
Always #EndPeriodPoverty So No Period Holds Anyone Back
When girls don’t have access to period products, not only do they not feel protected, but it also puts their confidence, dignity and education at risk. They’re less likely to be able to participate in their education & other activities, and if they are, they’re likely to feel distracted and unable to focus on reaching their full potential. Learn how Always is helping to #EndPeriodPoverty around the world.
